    Summary TripSit

An obscure psychedelic drug similar in structure to 5-MeO-DMT. Possibly first synthesised by Alexander Shulgin. Likely to have similar effects to other tryptamine psychedelics.

    Perspectives

“This is a boring and uncomfortable drug when taken orally, underwhelming and underperforming in just about every conceivable way. The physical sensations consist primarily of discomfort and unease, with muscle aches, nausea, and excess stimulation casting dominion over the experience. There is nothing remotely pleasant or enjoyable, just a sense that no matter what I do my body is not quite right.”

First trial of 5-MeO-MET - 6mg rectally Feb 12th, 2020 by Xorkoth 2:30pm (T+0:00) - Ingested 6mg of 5-MeO-MET rectally. It has the appearance of a tan, fine powder, reminiscent of the 5-MeO-MiPT I have. I tasted a tiny bit of it (just a dusting left on the weighing tray) and it tastes just about like 5-MeO-MiPT.

Background: I have done numerous psychedelics over the course of my life. Tons of LSD and MDMA and other random drugs. I have only taken 5-MeO's in the form 5-MeO-DiPT in pressed pills, and I was pretty impressed with the effect. After trying 5-MeO-MET orally with minimal effect, I decided to vaporize a tiny chunk.

Surprisingly Nauseous and Disappointing 49mg oral, powder neutral

This substance was surprisingly disappointing, and it seems like methoxyl esters of base tryptamines don't have a predictable relationship, especially given the potency differences across various 5-MeO tryptamines.

Tryptamines The Big and Dandy 5-MeO-MET Thread

Welcome to the Big & Dandy 5-MeO-MET Thread [original post] Anyone tasted this? Did a forum search and adding 5-MeO to anything results in it pulling anything that matches 5-MeO. I've seen it around and I'm fairly curious about it, even given the rough bodyloads of most 5-MeO's in general.
